single handed bos-- the gds post rendered vacant on account of discharge from the service, appointment of the gds against a departmental post or death of the gds may be filled up to ensure basic postal services(means no need to refer to c.o.)
gds posts in bos with 2 or more hands-- if prescribed workload and financial parameters as prescribed are not fulfilled , then approval of cpmg will be required(vide dte lr no 17-103/2007-gds dated 14-07-09)
